Nail Disorders

Nails can be affected by a number of disorders. One of the most common nail disorders is a fungal infection of the nails called onychomycosis. Also known as tine unguium, these fungi can cause abnormal nail growth (nail dystrophy), discoloration, nail separation, and nail thickening. Single nails can be affected, but all nails can be affected as well. Nail infections are more common in immunosuppressed patients, and we often see fungal infections of the feet co-existing with nail infections. We have numerous treatment options for various nail disorders including the following most-common nail issues.

MD Claiborne is proud to offer you a number of toe/fingernail treatments.
